Email Setup

Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Outlook. Click on Tools, and E-mail Accounts.
  2. Click add a new E-mail account, then click 'Next'.
  3. Click POP3, and then click 'Next'.
  4. Enter the information for your specific email address.
  5. When you are finished putting in your specific email specifications, click on ‘More Settings’.
  6. Click on the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab at the top of the "Internet E-mail Settings" window.
  7. Click on the box that says ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication' and make sure the ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server' button is clicked.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click 'Next' and 'Finish' and your email account is set up.

Microsoft Outlook Express

  1. Click on ‘tool’s and ‘accounts’.
  2. Click on ‘Add’ and ‘mail’.
  3. Enter email address, click next.
  4. Enter mail server info:
    Incoming mail server: pop.accountsupport.com
    Outgoing mail server: smtp.accountsupport.com
    Click next
  5. Enter full email address, including domain.
    Enter the password to the email account and click next.
  6. Highlight the account and click on ‘properties’.
  7. Click on the Servers tab Click the box at the very bottom under outgoing mail server, which says that my outgoing mail server needs authentication.  Click OK
  8. Click Close.
  9. Click on send/receive to get your email.
